The Oil Cooled Transformer is submerged in oil and the heat produced in the centers and the windings are passed on to oil by conduction. Oil in contact with the outside of windings and center gets heated up and moves towards the top and is replaced by the Cool Oil from the base.The warmed oil moves its warmth to the transformer tank through convection and which thus moves the warmth to the encompassing air by convection and radiation.
